A selection from the series ‘Longing for the sea’. These cylinders are turned with stoneware clay in the base and porcelain clay towards the top. The unruliness, tension and shrinkage during the turning and firing process remain visible through the slight distortions in the work. In all areas, both turning and firing, this was a challenge. By experimenting with colored clay while turning, picturesque landscapes were created.
